Measure your head circumference and compare to the manufacturer's size chart. The helmet should sit level, feel snug without pressure points, and not rock side to side.
A good helmet-goggle combo has no "gaper gap" (forehead exposure between the two). Try them together if possible, or buy the same brand for better compatibility.
Low-light lenses (yellow, rose, amber) brighten flat-light days. Dark lenses (black, grey, mirror) are for bright sun. Interchangeable lens goggles offer the most versatility.
