Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Boardom ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep this information up to date.

4. Listing and Selling

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, photos, condition, and pricing. All items listed must be legal to sell and must be snow sports or related equipment. Prohibited items include counterfeit goods, stolen property, and items that violate any applicable laws.

Sellers are required to ship items within the timeframe specified at checkout or, for collection items, to make the item available at the agreed location.

5. Buying and Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable platform fees. Boardom charges a platform fee of 10% on each transaction, added to the listing price at checkout.

Payment is held until the buyer confirms receipt of the item. Buyers have 48 hours after delivery is marked to confirm receipt or raise a dispute. After this period, the order is automatically completed and funds are released to the seller.

6. Buyer Protection

If an item is significantly not as described, damaged during shipping, or not received, buyers may request a refund. Refund requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. Boardom will review disputes and may issue full or partial refunds at its discretion.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Create listings for items you do not possess or intend to sell
• Manipulate prices, feedback, or search results
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Use the Platform for money laundering or fraudulent activities
• Circumvent the payment system to avoid fees
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Platform without authorization

8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform. By posting content, you grant Boardom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform's services.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, active listings will be removed and pending orders will be handled according to our refund policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Boardom does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to buy. Transactions are between buyers and sellers; Boardom acts solely as a marketplace facilitator.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boardom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
