Capita AERONAUT vs Capita CHILDREN OF THE POW

How they compare

Both target all mountain terrain, while the Capita CHILDREN OF THE POW leans more powder. They share a directional shape — different nose and tail; built to ride forward with better float in powder and drive on groomers. The Capita AERONAUT has a camber profile (arc underfoot for strong edge hold, pop, and stability on hardpack—lively and precise), while the Capita CHILDREN OF THE POW uses rocker (lifted contact points for easier turn initiation, float in soft snow, and a catch-free feel). The Capita AERONAUT is slightly stiffer, though both sit in the medium range. At $380 vs $649.95 MSRP, the Capita CHILDREN OF THE POW is the more budget-friendly option.
