Snowboards comparison — 2026-2027 season
How they compare
Both boards are designed for freeride and all mountain riding. They share a directional shape — different nose and tail; built to ride forward with better float in powder and drive on groomers. Both feature hybrid (camber/rocker) profiles — mix of camber and rocker zones for all-mountain versatility—grip, float, and play in one profile. The Capita Mercury is slightly stiffer, though both sit in the stiff range.

What to inspect and what not to confuse when buying used. Not on-snow reviews.
Stiffer all-mountain Capita. Fewer used listings than the DOA, and buyers pay more for a clean base. Mega Mercury is a different, scarcer board — do not treat them as the same used buy.
