Snowboards comparison — 2023-2024 season
How they compare
Both boards are designed for all mountain riding. The Capita Doa uses a twin shape while the Capita Mercury is directional. Both feature camber profiles — arc underfoot for strong edge hold, pop, and stability on hardpack—lively and precise. The Capita Mercury is slightly stiffer, though both sit in the medium range.

What to inspect and what not to confuse when buying used. Not on-snow reviews.
Park staple with a crowded used market, so prices run softer than the name suggests. Check sidewalls, inserts, and whether the edges have been through a lot of rails. Newer seasons are not automatically worth a premium.
Stiffer all-mountain Capita. Fewer used listings than the DOA, and buyers pay more for a clean base. Mega Mercury is a different, scarcer board — do not treat them as the same used buy.
