Jones Mind Expander vs Jones Storm Chaser
Snowboards comparison — 2022-2023 season
How they compare
the Jones Mind Expander leans more all mountain, while the Jones Storm Chaser leans more powder. They share a directional shape — different nose and tail; built to ride forward with better float in powder and drive on groomers. Both feature rocker profiles — lifted contact points for easier turn initiation, float in soft snow, and a catch-free feel. The Jones Storm Chaser is slightly stiffer, though both sit in the stiff range.

Jones Mind Expander
Playful powder/freeride shape. Used examples are worth it when the base is flat and the swallow or tapered tail is intact. A dinged tail or delam around the swallow is a pass — and Mind Expander Twin is a different board.
