Nidecker Alpha vs Nidecker Tape Deck

How they compare

Both boards are designed for all mountain and powder and freestyle riding. The Nidecker Alpha uses a directional shape while the Nidecker Tape Deck is twin. The Nidecker Alpha has a hybrid (camber/rocker) profile (mix of camber and rocker zones for all-mountain versatility—grip, float, and play in one profile), while the Nidecker Tape Deck uses camber (arc underfoot for strong edge hold, pop, and stability on hardpack—lively and precise). The Nidecker Tape Deck is noticeably stiffer at 6/10 versus the Nidecker Alpha's 3/10, suiting more aggressive riding.
