Nitro Alternator vs Nitro Cinema

How they compare

Both target all mountain terrain, while the Nitro Alternator leans more backcountry. The Nitro Alternator uses a directional shape while the Nitro Cinema is directional twin. The Nitro Alternator has a camber profile (arc underfoot for strong edge hold, pop, and stability on hardpack—lively and precise), while the Nitro Cinema uses hybrid (camber/rocker) (mix of camber and rocker zones for all-mountain versatility—grip, float, and play in one profile). The Nitro Alternator is noticeably stiffer at 8/10 versus the Nitro Cinema's 5/10, suiting more aggressive riding.
