Snowboards comparison — 2026-2027 season
How they compare
Both boards are designed for freestyle riding. They share a twin shape — same shape at nose and tail; rides switch naturally. Common for park and freestyle. The Salomon Abstract has a hybrid (rocker/camber) profile (mix of camber and rocker zones for all-mountain versatility—grip, float, and play in one profile), while the Salomon Huck Knife uses camber (arc underfoot for strong edge hold, pop, and stability on hardpack—lively and precise). Both are rated 5/10 flex (medium). The Salomon Abstract targets expert riders while the Salomon Huck Knife is aimed at advanced riders. At $549.95 vs $579.95 MSRP, the Salomon Abstract is the more budget-friendly option.

What to inspect and what not to confuse when buying used. Not on-snow reviews.
Salomon’s alternative all-mountain/freestyle board. Used supply is modest. Confirm you are not looking at a Huck Knife, and price the base and edges — a recent season is not automatically a premium.
Park-first Salomon with a busier used market than the Abstract. Check sidewalls, inserts, and rail rash. Huck Knife Pro is a different, scarcer board — do not pay Pro money for a standard Huck Knife.
